Explanation: I do apologize for any inconvenience, but at this time it is likely that my internet along with many other things will be turned off soon.  Being an automotive engineer in Michigan, I have been laid-off a lot due to the business dying out because of outsourcing by GM. In fact I have worked a total of three and a half weeks in the last 18 months. We have scraped by on my wife's salary and finally we can no longer even do that. We are currently having to decide between making our car payment or our rent.  Yes I have looked long and hard for any job I can get. However the few places who have been hiring will always hire someone with experience or someone younger than I.

     Along with looking for work, I have spent a lot of my time working on this website in hopes I can get it to the point where it helps supplement our income, however it only gets between 100 to 200 visitors per day and that is not enough to save us. In hopes I might find a good Samaritan somewhere out there, I have even asked for donations. However we have received none.

     Believe me when I tell you how much I love working on sports stats and preparing these lists for everyone. As well as being a part of my hopes to survive, this website has been an escape from the stress as well. If I should ever get back to working again, or fall into enough money to save my family, I will indeed pick back up where I left off.  Once again, I do apologize and I do hope God intervenes in some way that I can avoid this, but at this time it doesn't look like I have more than a couple weeks left for I will soon be more than two months behind on my bills.

     At this time it is really, "about me" rather than "About Us" for I am the only one running this site, though my goal in the future is to bring other experts into KenjasFantasySports.

     Before I go into more personal information, let me begin with telling you my credentials. Sports have always been a large part of my life. I grew up playing sports and I played baseball in high school. I have been playing Fantasy Sports since about 1991. I have won a few championships between friends and have won a few at ESPN and YAHOO as well. Let me tell you, in sixteen years, a person learns a lot about something. So believe me when I tell you I am not some blow hard green horn who has played two years of fantasy baseball and thinks he's ready to give advice.

     Yet I will tell you one very important thing I have learned in Fantasy Sports. Even the experts out there are nothing more than men who study the trade. They know the fantasy realm very well, but they are still only men. (or women). Being human, they are just as subjective to biased opinions as any of the rest of us are. That is why I have learned to compare different experts rankings. To weed out the biased opinions and have a truer ranking.

Why start my own site?

     To be completely up front with you, it started with the need of money. I am a displaced automotive engineer and was unemployed for 15 months before I was hired for a short term assignment. Four to six weeks. It lasted three and a half weeks and I am now unemployed again with no income. My unemployment has run out and I am presently looking into schooling for a new career as I desperately look for a job. The thought of creating a website and using Google Adsense came to me. Any time someone clicks one of the Google Ads here at Kenjas Fantasy Sports, I get paid by Google. The question was what kind of website. I do believe that if you are going to try and make money at something, do it in something you love. I love fantasy sports. I love it, I know it, and so now I have decided to help others at it. Though this website will put me at a distinct disadvantage against my brothers and friends, for they will now have a better idea of who I will look at drafting.

My Plea

     As I have said, this is a free site and I will only be paid through Google Adsense. At this time there is no memberships or fees implemented. Yet these are rough times in the world and especially in Michigan where I reside and at this time my site is too new and does not have a lot of traffic coming through yet. Though in the future I might implement new features that can be purchased, for the most part, I hope to keep this site free. In order to do so I am asking anyone who finds this site helpful (only if you are doing well at this time financially) to feel free to give any kind of donation your heart desires. Yet whether you do or not, I do hope the information I provide helps you win your leagues.
